Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Oliktric LLC collects in its applications, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Oliktric LLC is a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, United States. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Oliktric LLC, and "the app" means any mobile application we publish.

What we collect
Information you give us
- Username. Chosen by you. It is public — it appears on in-app leaderboards visible to other players.
- First name. Used to address you inside the app.
- ZIP code. Used only to show you civics information relevant to your state. We do not use it to determine your precise location.
- Age range. Collected as a broad range (13–17 or 18 and over) rather than a date of birth, and used to adjust the reading level of educational content. The app is for users aged 13 and over, so we do not offer an option below that.
Information created as you play
Game progress, levels completed, and scores. Scores and usernames appear on public leaderboards inside the app.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not collect payment card numbers. Purchases are processed by Apple and Google; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase succeeded.
- We do not serve advertising and do not sell or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Why we collect it
We use the information above to create and maintain your account, save your progress across devices, operate leaderboards, deliver the educational content you paid for, honor purchases and restores, and diagnose crashes and bugs. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the app. They act on our behalf under contract, may use the information only to provide their service to us, and may not use it for their own purposes. They fall into these categories:
- Application and database hosting. Stores your account, saved progress, and leaderboard entries.
- App distribution and payments. Apple and Google operate the App Store and Google Play. They process all purchases and tell us only that a purchase succeeded. We never see your payment card details.
- Purchase and entitlement management. Confirms which content you have unlocked so it stays available across your devices.
- Crash and error reporting. Records technical details when the app fails, so we can fix it.
- Website hosting. Serves the pages on oliktric.com.
We do not use advertising networks, analytics brokers, or any provider that would receive your information for its own marketing.
We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect the safety of our users. Otherwise, we do not share it.
How long we keep it
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it and its associated data within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet a legal or tax obligation.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to privacy@oliktric.com from the email tied to your account, or use the account deletion option in the app's settings screen. We respond within 30 days and will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights under state law. The rights described above are available to everyone who uses the app, regardless of where they live.
Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Account creation requires confirming you are 13 or older. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we delete the account and its data promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, write to privacy@oliktric.com and we will remove it. Include the username if you know it.
Security
We protect account data in transit and at rest, restrict access to it, and review our systems for weaknesses. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to reuse a password you use elsewhere.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
